Benefits in a Card offers a Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) wellness-preventive plan for the assisted living industry and nursing homes. Our MEC plan satisfies both the A Portion (also referred to as the “A Tax”) of the employer mandate and the individual mandate. It also satisfies the B Portion if your employee accepts your offer of coverage.

Benefits in a Card also offers a Minimum Value Plan (MVP) High Deductible (hd) plan for assisted living clients. Our MVP (hd) is designed to satisfy the A and B-portions of the employer mandate (also known as the “A” and “B Tax”). Our MVP (hd) also satisfies the individual mandate.
