Our Story

Solving Benefits for a Changing Workforce

BIC was founded in 1992 to solve a problem that’s only gotten more urgent: traditional benefits weren’t built for high-turnover workforces like those in staffing, hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare, retail and others. From the start, BIC focused on creating benefit options that could launch quickly, stay flexible and remain manageable as employee rosters changed week to week.

Over the years, we’ve continued to evolve alongside our clients, pairing practical benefit value with the kind of operational support and stability employers need to make confident decisions.

Today, BIC supports organizations across staffing and other high-turnover industries with a flexible approach to plan design, responsive service and technology that helps reduce administrative friction. The goal has stayed the same since 1992: make benefits easier to offer, easier to manage and easier for employees to use.
